Abdoulaye Doucoure snubs Wolves and Fulham transfer offers as Watford star has heart set on Everton move

ABDOULAYE DOUCOURE has snubbed offers from Wolves and Fulham – as the Watford star has his heart set on a move to Everton, according to reports.

The Toffees had chased the French star, 27, last summer but failed to get a deal over the line.

A year on, they are set to rekindle their interest having missed out on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Tottenham.

Everton – who also want James Rodriguez and Allan – are set to beat Wolves, Fulham and Hertha Berlin to the Hornets star.

Doucoure was always likely to leave Vicarage Road this summer after Watford were relegated.

But for the former France Under-21s star there is only one place he wants to be – Goodison Park – according to reports in France.

Doucoure has played 129 times in the Premier League, including 37 matches last season.

During his four seasons, he has scored 17 goals and added 11 assists.

And Ancelotti wants Doucoure as part of his monster midfield overhaul.

Everton are said to have agreed personal terms with Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, with the Colombian taking a cut on his £140,000-a-week wages.

Ancelotti wants to reunite with the Colombia playmaker having managed him at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The Italian said: “James Rodriguez? I like, I like a lot as a player.

“When I left Madrid, James Rodriguez followed me to Munich. He came to play.

“But he followed me as a rumour to Napoli and now he is following me here to Everton as a rumour.

“I have to be honest, I like him a lot.”

According to Sky Sports, Everton have launched an offer of around £22million.

The two clubs are believed to on the verge of coming to an agreement.

Everton also want £31.6m-rated Napoli midfielder Allan – with whom Ancelotti worked in the 2018-19 season.
