And Ramsey has revealed the warm welcome he received from Ronaldo on his arrival in Italy.
Ramsey, 29, said: “He’s a great person as well as an unbelievable player and one of the best in history.
“For example, the first time I had a training session at the club, I went into the canteen and he said, ‘Come and sit by me’.
“We just started talking immediately and he made me feel at ease straight away as did the rest of the team.
“That’s a little insight into the sort of guy he is. I don’t need to tell you about his footballing ability or the records he has but I can tell you that he’s a great guy, he loves his team-mates and he gives everything in training.”
Prior to the coronavirus, Rambo and co were sitting top of the Serie A table, one point ahead of Lazio.
After an 11-year spell at the Emirates, he is closing in on the first league title of his career.
But Ramsey, who started his career at Cardiff, has opened the door to returning to the Welsh capital after life in Turin.
Ramsey added on his own Instagram Live: “Cardiff will always hold a special place in my heart. Who knows what the future may hold? So yes, why not?
“I grew up and started my career there and they helped me become a professional footballer so why not?”
While Ramsey is team-mates with five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, he admitted his boyhood hero was a lesser household name.
Ramsey said: “I didn’t have an idol in the Premier League or world football. My idol was Graham Kavanagh, who was captain of Cardiff at the time and played in the middle of the park where I play.
“That was always my goal, to get into that team, position and to be like him. That was all I was focused on and becoming a professional at Cardiff.”
