AARON RAMSEY may not have seen Cristiano Ronaldo for a few weeks – but he was still gushing over his team-mate to One Direction’s Niall Horan.
It is clear to see the Welshman is full of admiration for his Portuguese pal, hailing him as an “exceptional athlete” and a “winner”.

The midfielder, 29, made the switch from Arsenal to Juventus last summer and has been linking up with the five-time Ballon d’Or king this season.
And he is getting an insight into what Ronaldo is like on a personal level and how his commitment to training has helped him become one of the best players of all time.
Speaking on Instagram Live with Horan, Ramsey said: “He’s an exceptional athlete.
“He’s first in the gym, he goes through his whole routine first and then he’s out onto the pitches.
“He’s a winner, wants to win every single game, every small-sided game, whatever it is, then he’ll be out there practising his free-kicks and things like that and shooting.
“You don’t need me to tell you how good or driven he is.
“He’s unbelievable, he’s one of the greatest in the history of the game.”
Ronaldo has won major honours with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Portugal – including six league titles, five Champions Leagues and the European Championships.
This season he has smashed in 25 goals in 32 appearances and reached 99 for his country as he surpassed 1,000 career matches but is now enjoying some time with family in a luxury mansion in Madeira with football currently suspended.
Ramsey, meanwhile, has struggled a little to find his feet after making the move to Serie A.
But he did score in the last two league matches before the break to take his tally to four for the season – his sole Champions League goal came when he stole Ronaldo’s goal-bound effort.
Now he is worried he is going to get fat during the lockdown… because he can’t stop himself raiding his kids’ cookie jar.
The former Cardiff youngster added: “I’ve been doing the programmes the club have sent over, keeping fit most days.
“But it’s not the same as training or playing games where you don’t have any worries about putting on weight.
“It’s difficult because my wife likes to cook and I like to eat so it’s not a good combination. When I am back at it I am pretty strict but it’s difficult at the moment.
“I’ve got all the kids biscuits and I’m just raiding that every time I go for a cup of tea!
“Hopefully we get out of this as soon as possible and get back to normal because it’s difficult.”
