MICK SCHUMACHER’S uncle Ralf has hit out at ‘constant comparisons’ between the young driver and his legendary dad Michael.
The elder German, 51, won seven Championships during a glittering career in Formula 1.

And with his son Mick, 21, having agreed to enter F1 with Haas next season, the obvious comparisons have already started.
But Ralf, a former F1 driver himself, has no interest in doing so – insisting that they are ‘boring’.
The 45-year-old told Sky Germany: “These constant comparisons – I just find them boring.
“It’s Mick who does the job.
“He will go his own way and that is how he should be judged.
“What happened 20 years ago has no relevance today.”
Mick secured the Formula 2 Championship this year, edging out Brit Callum Ilott and Japanese star Yuki Tsunoda.
And Ralf is certain that the title was deserved.

He continued: “It was difficult for him in the beginning, and then there was a really bad atmosphere against him in the paddock.
“But the answer is that he definitely deserves it.”
Next season, the younger Schumacher is set to go up against Red Bull superstar Max Verstappen.
And a remarkable video clip from 18 years ago has surfaced, in which father Michael, and Verstappen’s dad Jos, discussed the potential of their kids facing off on the grid in future.
