Jenson Button and ex-Playboy model fiancee Brittny Ward reveal 10-month-old son has undergone surgery for hip dysplasia


JENSON BUTTON has revealed his ten-month-old son has undergone hip dysplasia surgery and is recovering well following the operation.

Little Hendrix is now on the road to recovery and both Jenson and ex-Playboy model fiancee Brittny Ward posted updates to their Instagram pages.

Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is where the “ball and socket” joint does not form properly in babies and young children.

Around one in 500 babies that have DDH that needs to be treated.

Jenson posted a picture of his son wearing his cast with the caption: “Introducing Spica boy! The newest superhero.

“Post surgery our little dude is doing well, bloody confused but healthy.”

Ward also updated her Instagram fans with photos of Hendrix with the caption: “You are my hero @hendrixbutton.

“The next 3 months will be Challenging, but this will all be a distant memory and I bet we won’t be able to keep up with you once this cast is off.”

Jenson was recently involved in a car crash which caused almost £25,000 worth of damage to his vehicle but the former F1 driver isn’t hitting any speed records now he’s a father.

Button told JOE: “Where I live is a 25mph speed limit, which feels fast for the road I live on, so I drive below the speed limit.

“It’s amazing what changes when you have a kid!”
