Watch Canelo Alvarez punch speed bag while carrying his daughter in adorable video ahead of Billy Joe Saunders fight

CANELO ALVAREZ took his daughter to work as he trained on a speed bag while holding her in his arms.

The super-dad continues to train amid the coronavirus pandemic as his title fight with Brit Billy Joe Saunders next month looks bound to be rescheduled.

But he did so with his daughter Maria as he held her with one arm and worked on his jab with the other.

Some fans online joked the four-division champion would still be able to beat most boxers while while holding his child in his hands.

One said: “This man dead ass could walk in the ring with his daughter like this and still beat the living lights out of most boxers in the world.”

Another said: “Could probably still win like that.”

Canelo last fought in November, when he jumped from middleweight to light-heavyweight, knocking out Russian Sergey Kovalev to win the WBO belt.

But in a bid to become a fully-fledged four-division champion, having only won the WBA’s ‘Regular’ title at super-middleweight, the Mexican superstar has moved back down to 168lb where he was expected to challenge WBO titleist Saunders.

Despite the deadly COVID-19 bug KO’ing the original May date, the title fight could still take place before the year’s out.

But it is claimed Canelo and bitter rival Gennady Golovkin have verbally agreed terms for a trilogy bout in September, which broadcasters DAZN are desperate to make.

It could leave 30-year-old Saunders once again in lurch, waiting for the winner of that fight.

But still, two-division champ Saunders remains training to take on pound-for-pound star Alvarez, and believes the world has already seen the best of the 29-year-old.

He told ESPN: “For me, everything is to win. I think (Canelo) is a brilliant, complete fighter, but the point here is that I think we’ve seen the best of him already, and we haven’t seen the best of me yet.

“We have already seen the best of him, twice with Golovkin, in the fight with Daniel Jacobs, he is not going to improve.”
