Tyson Fury’s dad warns he’ll put Eddie Hearn in ‘dole queue’ as he offers to bet ‘everything’ on Anthony Joshua bout

TYSON FURY’S dad John is willing to “bet Eddie Hearn everything” that his son beats Anthony Joshua.

And the outspoken ex-boxer says he will “put him and his dad in the dole queue” should they take up the offer.

Tyson’s promoter Frank Warren said at the weekend that his man had already signed a deal to fight AJ in an unnamed country.

But Warren went on to say that he thinks WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO champ Joshua and his Matchroom promoter Hearn “do not want the fight”.

Now the Gypsy King’s dad John has waded in with an all-or-nothing offer, so confident is he that his son would win the Battle of Britain.

In a preview for BT Sport’s What Went Down, the 56-year-old said: “Let’s get the Joshua [fight] on.

“I’ll tell you what I’ll do, I will bet Eddie Hearn everything.

“I’ll put him and his dad in the dole queue, I’ll put them in the dole queue.

“All them fighters know they can’t beat Tyson.

“You can’t beat heart and the Furys have got bags of it, bags of heart.”

It’s not the first time Fury Sr has put his money where his mouth is.

In the lead up to his son’s rematch against Deontay Wilder, he offered former heavyweight champion of the world David Haye a £100,000 bet that Tyson would win.

Haye didn’t take up the offer and of course Tyson went on to sensationally stop the previously unbeaten American in the seventh round to become new WBC champ.

That victory saw many consider the Lineal title-holder one of the best boxers ever, and it is something the man himself agrees with.

In the trailer for the show, the 31-year-old said: “There hasn’t been a heavyweight from any era in the last thousand years that could’ve beat me.

“I’m the greatest fighter that’s ever lived.

“How about that for a bit of modesty.”
