Ring Magazine’s top 10 heavyweights revealed with Tyson Fury first and Deontay Wilder plummeting to FOURTH in rankings

Fury has been ranked at the top of the pile after he dethroned the American to snatch the WBC belt last weekend.

The Gypsy King is the third heavyweight in history to win the Ring Magzine belt twice after Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson.

Two-time world champion Anthony Joshua secured second place following his rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr in December.

Whyte, who lost to AJ in 2015, has been picked ahead of bitter rival Wilder for the final place on the podium.

The 31-year-old boasts a record of 27-1-0 – with his most recent victory coming against Mariusz Wach in December.

His brother Dean turned up to Tyson Fury’s after-party on Sunday to call for the Body Snatcher to finally receive his title shot.

Whyte is convinced that Fury will avoid facing him, but has vowed to “break him down” if they ever go toe-to-toe.

Wilder was outclassed from the off when he came up against the Gypsy King for the second time in Las Vegas.

The 34-year-old has dropped to fourth, but he has admitted he will exercise his rematch clause for a summer trilogy.

Cuban veteran Luis Ortiz, who was brutally KO’d by Wilder in November, has been ranked in fifth.

He has been placed ahead of Ruiz Jr – who pulled off one of the greatest shocks in boxing when he beat  AJ last summer.

But the chubby Mexican only held onto the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles for six months until the rematch.

Next in line is Russian hardman Alexander Povetkin following his draw against Michael Hunter in December.

Joseph Parker, Michael Hunter, Adam Kownacki and Oscar Rivas completed the list published by Ring Magazine.

Kubrat Pulev, who is set to face Joshua next, doesn’t even make the list.
