SCOTT QUIGG is coming home after nearly four long years.
The Bury super-featherweight faces Jono Carroll at the Manchester Arena as he continues his fightback from painful defeat to Oscar Valdez in March 2018.

This showdown will be the first time Quigg has fought in his hometown since December 2016, when he stopped Jose Cayetano to banish memories of his painful defeat here to Carl Frampton.
In Dublin-native Carroll he faces a fighter also on the comeback trail after suffering his own world title heartache to Tevin Farmer in March 2019.

When is Quigg vs Carroll?
THIS bout was originally meant to take place in December 2019 on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr.
But an injury for Quigg meant that he was forced to withdraw, with the fight re-arranged for the New Year.
The two will go toe-to-toe on Saturday, March 7 at the Manchester Arena.
Fight night gets going around 6pm, with the main event expected around 10pm.

Scott Quigg told World Boxing News: “People like Jono come through the Wildcard door every day and I’ve sparred and dealt with many people like him. I’m not taking it lightly, but I know what I need to do.
“I’ve put the right preparation in and I’m more than ready. The amount of nonsense he talks, because he talks that much, he starts to believe it.
“If he didn’t believe it he’d start going into himself, he’d start having the doubts. He hopes I’m scared. Unfortunately for him, I’m not scared of him.
“When I beat him, this will put me back where I want to be, at the forefront of getting a world title shot.”
Jono Carroll: “When the fight in Saudi Arabia got cancelled, I thought Scott bottled it. This to me is a career shift.
“The day after Christmas I went out to Philadelphia to train. I didn’t even get to see my baby play with her toys. That’s how much I am up for this fight. I jumped at this fight and I’m really looking forward to this fight.
