The two were originally set to fight it out on June 20 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – but that has been postponed.
A tentative date of July 25 has been teased by both promoter Eddie Hearn and Pulev himself.
The 38-year-old Bulgarian is set for his biggest career pay-day in his 30th pro fight.
But he has said it will be halved thanks to an incredible show of generosity.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild, Pulev said: “I will give doctors, nurses and hospitals the necessary equipment to deal with this devilish virus.
“I will donate 50 per cent of the money I earn from the match with Joshua to the tireless heroes in the fight against the coronavirus.”

SunSport has simulated the Joshua versus Pulev fight – with it not ending well for the generous Bulgarian.
The scrap was put through the Fight Night simulator several times, with a sixth-round KO proving the most likely outcome.
That would follow what the bookies are saying, with 38-year-old Pulev a 7/1 shot of the upset, while AJ is as short as 1/12.
