TYSON FURY’S trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder could be hosted at the £1.5billion Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum hopes to book it for the third heavyweight headliner between the pair on December 19, with their initial July date scrapped amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Arum said: “That is the date that we all want (December 19).
“That’s the date that both sides are happy with. Whether we’ll be able to do it in the stadium with limited seating, that’s in the hands of the gods.
“Whenever they fight, I think it’s going to be a huge type of attraction, and to do it as the first fight at Allegiant Stadium would be something really special.”
Arum has already come back with behind closed doors events, but there is hope spectators can return at a reduced capacity.
Even with a third of the Allegiant Stadium filled up, it surpasses the 15,210 fans who helped break the £13million heavyweight gate record when Fury dethroned Wilder in February.
To salvage ticket sales for the world title rematch, moving the fight to Australia, New Zealand or even Macau were touted as possibilities.
But the Raiders new stadium, a ten-level domed building on a 64-acre plot to the West of the Mandalay Bay hotel, has long been lined up to host a mega-money fight.
It is due to be completed this month in time for the NFL season to start in September.
Fury’s trilogy bout with Wilder in contracted to take place in the US, though UK promoter Frank Warren admitted it could be shifted elsewhere to ensure the immediate rematch is fulfilled this year.
Warren told Sky Sports: “At the moment, it’s contracted to take place in America, but it could take place anywhere at the moment, because obviously there are negotiations going on with various territories who may be interested in putting the fight on.
“All we know is what the contract says, the rematch has to happen, so that’s where we are.
“When and where it happens, it will be decided I think fairly soon, because the fight will have to happen some time this year, towards the end of the year.”
