DAVID HAYE has backed the idea of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather fighting YouTuber Logan Paul as he has no chance of losing.
It was revealed earlier in the week that Mayweather, who retired from the noble art undefeated, was ‘in talks’ with the social media sensation.

Paul famously drew with fellow YouTuber, Brit KSI, in an amateur fight in 2018 and then lost the rematch after turning professional.
And while many have scoffed at the idea of Paul even sharing a ring with Mayweather, former two-weight world champ Haye is happy to see it play out.
Speaking to Sky Sports the 39-year-old said: “I just think it’s fun, it gets people talking. I don’t mind seeing Floyd Mayweather fight YouTubers.
“I wouldn’t want to see Mayweather fighting someone young, undefeated. Why? What’s the point?
“They are younger and fresher, and Mayweather may have slowed down a fraction. He may lose.
“I remember Roy Jones. The only reason he lost to the fighters he lost to, is because he got a little old.
“Same thing with ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley. He would even lose against guys that wouldn’t even be good enough to be his sparring partner when he was in his prime.

“I really don’t like seeing that. I don’t mind Mayweather fighting, as long as it isn’t against someone who has a chance of winning.”
And Sky Sports pundit Carl Froch similarly believes Mayweather should go out and take the millions on offer because he is ‘a showman’.
He added: “It’s a money spinner for both of them and, for me, it’s not proper professional boxing.
“It’s an exhibition, but people enjoy it, and people will want to tune in and watch it.”
Mayweather’s last ever fight was a 10th-round stoppage of UFC legend Conor McGregor.
Viddal Riley, 23, who is promoted by Mayweather, claims he has the ‘inside scoop’ on the big fight.
Riley said on his Instagram: “I just can’t believe that this is even a thing that is being discussed.
“Both guys are in talks, it is not confirmed yet. Remember, I get the inside scoop, I’m the one that hangs around the family.
“I can tell you that is is not confirmed yet, but it is in talks.”
East Londoner Viddal has a history with Paul, having twice coached close friend KSI – real name Olajide William Olatunji – to fight him.
