He captioned the shot with a quote from legendary fighter Ali, which said: “I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'”
The late American Ali is heralded as ‘The Greatest’ and is clearly providing inspiration for Hall to push himself to the limit in the boxing gym.
‘The Beast’ is keeping his 2.2million followers up to date with regular updates of his training progress ahead of a foray into the ring next year.
Game of Thrones star Bjornsson challenged Hall to a fight after breaking the Brit’s deadlift world record in May.
World’s Strongest Man (WSM) 2017 winner, Hall had previously been the first person to ever lift 500kg before his nemesis racked up an extra kilo.
The two stars have been embroiled in a war of words after 2018 WSM winner Bjornsson claimed there was some “cheating” involved in Hall’s 2017 triumph.
But the Englishman, 32, released previously unseen footage to disprove the claims and the Icelandic heavyweight said he “would probably never compete again”.
The gigantic pair will settle their differences in the ring in September 2021 in Las Vegas and with no love lost between them – Hall has vowed to “rip his f***ing head off”.
