DEONTAY WILDER insists “coward” Anthony Joshua’s cautious rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr has cost him a place in the heavyweight headlines.
After suffering a brutal seven-round beatdown in New York in June, AJ danced and jabbed around the Mexican to win his three world titles back in Saudi Arabia in December.

While the Diriyah points win was almost punch perfect, it looked limp compared to the two sensational KOs Wilder has scored since his 2018 draw with Tyson Fury.
The WBC boss and the Bronze Bomber rematch on February 22, while AJ has to juggle an uninspiring mandatory defence against Kubrat Pulev in June.
And Wilder pulled no punches when AJ’s name was mentioned on a Monday night conference call.
The 34-year-old barked: “I’m not worried about that coward.
“That coward barely won his titles back so he should not worry about stepping into the ring with the king.
I’m not worried about that coward. He’s been out of the picture and ain’t nobody talking about him no more
Deontay Wilder on Anthony Joshua
“He’s been out of the picture and ain’t nobody talking about him no more, so there ain’t no need to bring him up.
“Right here, right now, on February 22, Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury.
“Other than that, nobody else is in existence at this point in time.”
Joshua did his spiteful relationship with Wilder no favours when he backed Fury to dethrone him at the MGM in Las Vegas.
The 30-year-old Watford hero reckons the 6ft 9in Traveller will have learned enough from their first meeting to know how to get the win second time around.
The 2012 Olympic golden boy said: “I think Fury wins. A man who nearly did it the first time, won’t get it wrong the second time, that’s the only reason why.
“I think that he came close the first time, to the point of a draw, it was that close.
“So I just think Tyson Fury is going to correct his wrongs and come back and win.”
