LUKE KEELER says Conor McGregor was ‘roaring and shouting’ down the phone to him after agreeing to fight the Dublin boxer.
Keeler reportedly agreed to a fight with the UFC star last summer after footage emerged of McGregor punching an elderly man in a Dublin pub.

McGregor was later found guilty of assault and fined €1000.
World title challenger Keeler called McGregor out for his antics and revealed today that the pair got engaged in a shouting match over the phone.
Keeler told boxingnews24: “He took offence when I called him out when he hit that old man. We’re from the same area.
“He took offence and had a bit of a rant on the phone. It wasn’t much to it, but he kind of half agreed on the phone to fight.
‘HUGE EGO’
“I don’t think he was in the right frame of mind. He was just roaring and shouting.
“He wasn’t that serious, I don’t think. I think he was more sore over being called out.
“He’s a huge ego, hasn’t he? He’s kind of not liked in Dublin anymore, in a way.
“The Irish crowd are starting to turn against him with these incidents.
“Me publicly calling him out, the fact that we know kind of similar people and being from the same area was a blow to his ego. You never know, if I win a world title, I might get him in and get a payday.”
Keeler was believed to be set to fight McGregor after the Notorious posted a cryptic tweet late last year but the boxer denied that a deal had been reached.
He said: “No, seriously, there have been talks but the team decided to focus on a world title fight as it’s close to being agreed.
“I honestly don’t think he is in a position to fight anytime soon. I’ll pick up the world title and he can get himself right.
“When they both happen there will be more chance of it happening. I’m focusing on my own end of things now.”
Keeler will later this month face Demetrius Andrade for the WBO world middleweight title.
