ZINEDINE ZIDANE is at loggerheads with his Real Madrid board as he pushes on with his bid to land £180million Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Los Blancos boss spoke to his compatriot Pogba when they were both on holiday in Dubai in October and is desperate to complete the transfer next month, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

The problem he has is that Real chief Florentino Perez would rather get Spurs star Christian Eriksen on the cheap in January.
Tottenham could take as little as £30m for the talisman, who has seven months left on his contract.
They have also lined up Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek as an alternative.
The Real board remain unconvinced over Pogba, believing he is not the right man to take the club forward.
There are concerns over his expected wages of £13.6m a season, as well as doubts over whether he can fit in.
It would also hinder the development of young players they hope to see push their way into the first team.
But Zidane is a huge fan of the 2018 World Cup winner.
Madrid newspaper Marca says Zidane sees Pogba as the missing piece of his Bernabeu puzzle.
He has already lined up a swap deal involving Gareth Bale to try and get his man.
The Spanish outlet claims the signing of Pogba has been Zidane’s only demand since returning to the club in March.
Pogba’s United contract ends in 2021 and he refuses to sign a new deal.
Zidane may have to play a waiting game as he knows he could get Pogba next summer for a price that would surely convince the Real money men to open the purse strings.
He would then only have one year left before leaving on a free and United chiefs will not want to take that sort of hit on a player they signed for £89m in 2016 from Juventus.
