WATFORD FC have boosted their squad with some striking talent.
Last week, The Hornets welcomed stunning presenter Emma Conybeare to Vicarage Road.

The former Capital Xtra host is the new face of the club’s social media channels and will travel the country delivering player interviews to Watford’s loyal fans.
Conybeare, 29, who was reported to have dated Olly Murs, also DJ’s around the world and once performed at a charity event for Meghan Markle.
And, if that’s not enough, the bright spark also has a degree in Maths!
“When you think about watching a football match, have you ever thought about what it would be like to be in the dugout?”, Emma told SunSport.
“Well, I’m going to be that middle person, close to the footballers who will try and capture the action and what that’s like and portray it on Instagram!”
SHE’S A LIFELONG FAN
Conybeare got her break in football working for Goal.com with an online show on their Facebook channel.
She also has her own YouTube football show Match of the Bae. However, working for Watford trumps all of that because she’s a hardened supporter.
“I’m a big fan, I think that’s a big reason I was brought on board,” she revealed.
“There’s four generations in my family that were Watford fans. I used to watch football with my granddad on TV.

“When he passed away, I felt that I had to take that tradition on and carry the Watford flag.
“It’s a family club, so it’s very fitting the way my love affair with Watford began.”
BAD LUCK
This season Watford have struggled to find form, and sit rock bottom of the Premier League.
“It’s frustrating because last season we were so good and got to the FA Cup final,” Emma divulged.
“This season I think we’ve been dealt a bad hand in terms of luck. We’ve got some very good players, but it doesn’t make sense why they are struggling.
“But I’m not disheartened with the team. I am super-positive, and they’ve played better than the results we’ve had.”

MEETING ELTON
Music-lover Emma is joining a team synonymous with pop royalty in Elton John.
The Rocketman was a former chairman, as well as lifelong fan and gorgeous brunette admitted she would be tongue-tied if she met the singer.
“Can you imagine that?
“I would be over the moon (to meet him). I never played music, but I DJ and my mum brought me up on Dusty Springfield, and my dad loved AC/DC.
“But I reckon I would be very nervous to meet him. Hopefully, with the Watford connection, I’ve got rights to meet him!”
FAVOURITE PLAYERS
Although Emma is looking forward to mixing with all the players, there are two that are her standout favourites.

“Troy Deeney is the guy, he’s a really down-to-earth person.
“Last season Ben Foster had such a good season, I thought he was one of the best English goalkeepers in the Premier League.
“I’ve got a soft spot for him. He’s the sort of person you’d want to bring home to your mum and dad.”
‘CLOSEST I GOT TO MEETING ROYALTY’
After earning her stripes as a DJ on Capital Xtra, Emma was able to launch a career as a club DJ, travelling the world to play corporate gigs.
She even had the opportunity to perform at the annual One Young World Summit – a global forum for young leaders at the Royal Albert Hall.
The special guest for that event was none-other-than Meghan Markle.

“I opened the show, and I played for 6,000 people. One of those people was Meghan.
“I didn’t get a chance to meet her. She came onto the stage, and I was in the side-wing so she walked straight past me.
“That was the closest I got to meeting royalty!”
