THIS is the shocking moment former Fulham defender Fernando Amorebieta is red-carded during a derby match in Paraguay for biting a rival.
The centre-back, who was on the receiving end of a bite attack while he played for the Cottagers, was caught on camera head-butting an opposition striker before sinking his teeth into the back of his head as he grabbed him by the neck.

The ref wasted little time in sending Amorebieta off as Nestor Camacho rolled around on the ground.
The disgraceful incident happened in the 82nd minute of the crunch derby between Cerro Porteno, where the Venezuelan-born 34-year-old now plays his football, and Olympia de Asuncion.
Surprisingly Camacho was also given his marching orders, despite the footage showing Amorebieta was the clear aggressor although his rival appeared to try to elbow him as he was being grabbed around the neck.
Amorebieta was already enduring a torrid day when sent off, Cerro losing 4-2 with former Manchester City and Blackburn ace Roque Santa Cruz hitting each of Olimpia’s goals.
TAKE THE BAIT
In March 2016 Leeds striker Souleymane Doukara was banned for eight matches after biting Amorebieta, who also spent time on loan at Middlesbrough.
The then-24-year-old was punished for sinking his teeth into the defender during an off-the-ball scuffle inside the Leeds penalty area during a 1-1 Championship draw with Fulham at Elland Road the previous month.
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez was handed a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic whilst at Liverpool before being told he could play no part in any football activities for four months following a similar incident at the 2014 World Cup involving Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini.
A FIFA spokesman said ahead of the second Suarez ban: “Such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a World Cup.”

Social media users were having a field day with the images of this latest incident.
One stunted up a picture of Amorebieta digging his teeth into Camacho, with a massive burger where his head should be.
Another said: “I hope Camacho has had his anti-rabies injection.”
There was no immediate comment from either player involved in Sunday’s incident after the match on social media.
Amorebieta, full name Fernando Gabriel Amorebieta Mardaras, spent most of his club with Spanish side Athletic Bilbao before signing for Fulham in April 2013. He returned to Spain in July 2016 after two loan spells at Middlesborough.
He agreed to a two-year deal at Cerro Porteno in January this year as a free agent.
