Watch humble Liverpool star Sadio Mane help worker carry water bottles from Senegal team coach

LIVERPOOL star Sadio Mane once again showed how he is the most humble player in football as he helped lug water bottles off the Senegal team coach.

Never one to slack, the Reds forward, 27, selflessly helped team officials carry the heavy load into the ground while on international duty.

Mane earns around £100,000-a-week at Anfield but has never bought into the showbiz lifestyle of certain others star, as he remembers his roots.

The former Southampton winger is widely regarded as one of football’s genuine good guys – getting involved in a host of charitable ventures.

Mane famously donated £200,000 to help build a school in his home nation earlier this year – having already paid to build a hospital.

During the summer break, he then made sure work was going ahead as he flew to Senegal to check on the school’s progress.

It’s claimed Mane even gave out football kits and money to local kids on his trip home.

He even handed a Super Cup ball-boy his shirt during the win over Chelsea this summer.

And after seeing Mane help carry the heavy water bottles, fans couldn’t help but recall what a hero he is.

One fan on social media wrote: “He’s one of the few players for whom I think this wouldn’t be a publicity stunt. Great guy.”

Another agreed, replying: There is a video of him cleaning local mosque floor in Liverpool. When someone starts filming he runs away from camera lol.”

A third wrote: “He’s just a nice bloke.”

Despite Liverpool being way ahead of the chasing pack in the Premier League, one Manchester City fan conceded: “Nne of the few Liverpool players I don’t hate, he’s class.”

An Arsenal fan admitted: “He’s the ONLY reason I can stomach a Liverpool premier league title win. Love him!”
