UNAI EMERY insists he still has the backing of his Arsenal bosses.

The struggling Spaniard is the bookies’ favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.

Yet he believes Gunners owner Stan Kroenke and head of football Raul Sanllehi are still in his corner even if the fans have turned against him.

Emery — fighting for his job after a dismal run of six games without a win — said: “The club is really supporting me.

“I feel everyone responsible in that area is backing me and I really appreciate it a lot.

“That support gives me strength and I know my responsibility is to change the situation.

“My future is today and tomorrow. My job is to prepare for this match against Frankfurt.

“Those are my only thoughts.”

NUNO’S ODDS COME IN

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is the bookies’ favourite to take over.

But he said: “I don’t talk about possibilities.”

SunSport reported yesterday how Nuno has surged to the top of the list with the bookies.

Emery is now ODDS-ON to get the boot next, following Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking from Tottenham.

Meanwhile, ex-Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta drops to third at 7/1 – having previously been the favourite.
