MAROUANE FELLAINI could return to the Premier League next month after Jose Mourinho reportedly contacted the Belgian about a move to Spurs.
Despite a fast start to life in North London, the Portuguese coach is considering a January refresh to his squad that may feature a familiar name.

According to Belgian outlet DH Les Sports, Mourinho rang up Fellaini only hours after his club Shandong Luneng ended their season with defeat in the CFA Cup final.
The Tottenham manager is said to have made his former Manchester United favourite a priority signing for the January window.
Even at 32, Fellaini remains something of a unique proposition at the top level and Mourinho wants a player of his profile to bolster Spurs’ squad.
A five-year spell at United saw the towering midfielder become a valuable asset when the ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid boss took control in 2016.
Fellaini played 47 times as the Red Devils won the League Cup and Europa League in Mourinho’s first season.
That included the assist for Paul Pogba’s opener in the final versus Ajax.
The following season was blighted by a knee injury as the player nonetheless scored five goals in his emerging role as a super sub.
And the switch to China has seen him return to form with 12 goals for Luneng who were downed by Shanghai Shenhua in last week’s Cup final.
Back in England, Mourinho has won four of his first five games as Spurs boss but is yet to settle on a preferred central midfield setup with Christian Eriksen set to leave.
