Ronaldo set to snub Man Utd transfer return this summer to stay at Juventus, according to Turin club chief

CRISTIANO RONALDO will stay at Juventus next season after a club chief ruled out any chance of a summer exit.

The Portuguese superstar has been linked with a move away from the Old Lady following an apparent fallout with boss Maurizio Sarri.

Rumours were sparked that their relationship was at rock-bottom when Sarri hooked him off in the 55th minute in a game against AC Milan last month.

Ronaldo was visibly annoyed and headed straight down the tunnel while appearing to mutter something in the direction of the boss.

Sarri put the substitution down to an injury but Ronaldo went on to represent Portugal on international duty days later, scoring four times in two appearances.

Ronaldo has since been linked with a switch away from the club, including a sensational return to Manchester United.

The 34-year-old only joined Juve in the summer of 2018 after a £100million move from Real Madrid.

But he has struggled to live up to his incredibly high standards and has scored six in 11 league starts this season.

Despite his wavering form and apparent fallout with the coach, Juve chief Fabio Paratici shut down any talk of him leaving.

When asked if he will stay, he bluntly responded: “Of course.”

And when further quizzed on his frustrations at the Old Lady, Paratici responded: “He’s a competitive man. In his reaction there’s all his spirit, his desire to be on the team.

“He is animal-like in his desire to always win.”

Ronaldo came third in the Ballon d’Or and snubbed the awards ceremony to pick up a Serie A award.
