Real Madrid 2020/21 new home kit to have bizarre pink ‘animal look’ in total overhaul of famous white shirt

REAL MADRID are reportedly preparing a fresh new look for the 2020/21 season – featuring an animalistic pink design.

For almost the entire history of the Spanish giants, they have taken to the pitch in a full white home kit.

The shirt is apparently most similar to the 2014/15 design

There could be a shake-up on the way with German website Real Total claiming Adidas are brewing a tiger stripe pattern for next season.

The home kit is set to be predominantly white with pink accents.

And the away offering will go with pink as its base colour and showcase black tiger stripes down the sleeves.

How the actual new kit turns out is still to be revealed, with pictures withheld at this stage.

The closest comparison to the new home shirt is said to be the 2014/15 kit that also bore pink effects, but the incorporation of an animal-esque design promises to be an interesting one.

Both the shirt and shorts are thought to be white with Real staying true to their iconic ensemble since a brief divergence to black shorts in 1925 – based off old London club Corinthian.

Once again, Fly Emirates are to sponsor the shirt next year as part of their £60million-a-year deal.

German manufacturer Adidas will supply the design as part of their £1.4billion agreement, lasting 12 years, signed earlier this year.

Fans online seemed open to the idea with one comment, from Don, reading: “That sounds very exotic… but yes, 2014/15, the pink accents were not so bad.”

Another, El Principe, posted: “Really nice jerseys. The pink fits better than gold in my opinion.”

Jack added: “To be honest… Real Madrid’s kits have become a little stale. This next one sounds… peculiar, but you never know.

“Depends on what kind of pink they choose; one of those orange-ish coral pink hues could work well even.”
