Striker Jimenez has hit 32 goals to help make the Molineux outfit a Premier League force following their promotion.
But the former Atletico Madrid ace has said he would gladly return to La Liga in Spain.
Jimenez is under contract until 2023.
The 28-year-old said: “The most important thing for me is to keep moving forward.
“I am happy with Wolves, but I always have to seek something more and keep fighting.
“This has been the best year of my career – but I want more.
“We are [joint] fifth in the table. The other day my dad asked me: ‘Where would you go if a top-six English club wanted to sign you?’
ANOTHER CRACK AT LA LIGA?
“I told him I’m with the fifth-placed team! I’m above various clubs that people consider to be the top six, and it’s wonderful here.
“But I’d have to look at the conditions [of a possible move], if they suited myself, Wolves and the other club.
“However it would always be to improve my career.
“Wolves paid £30m for me, and if they sell me it’ll surely be for more. I will keep on working.
“I would never rule out returning to Spain. I have good memories, and I would like to go back at some point.
“I want to try out La Liga once more, as I didn’t get to play much the previous time.
“Returning is not off the agenda. I have played at the Nou Camp and the Bernabeu.
“I would love to enjoy playing at those stadiums once more.
“If I get the chance to return to Spain with one or other club, I would be delighted.”
The striker has scored 15 goals in 27 games in all competitions.
