THE tweet going viral appearing to show Dele Alli blasting Jose Mourinho is a fake.
A screenshot of a message claiming to have been posted seven years ago by the England star suggested Alli never wanted to work with Mourinho.

The historical tweet was appearing to come back to haunt the Tottenham star now that Mourinho has replaced Mauricio Pochettino in charge.
Alli, then an MK Dons player, was supposed to have said: “Surely I can’t be the only one who thinks Mourinho is overrated and too cocky.
“It just makes you look like a bad manager, I’m glad I’ll never have to work with him.”
But SunSport has confirmed that the viral message is a complete fake, aimed at trying to embarrass the Spurs midfielder.
The pranksters have attempted to undermine the relationship of Alli and Mourinho on the first day he was in charge.

But in truth, it has been quickly written off by everyone at Spurs.
Alli is hoping the appointment of Mourinho will help him work his way back to his best form following 18 months blighted by injury.
The 23-year-old, like most of the Spurs squad, had been performing below par this season.
Pochettino remained popular with the players for the part he played in developing their careers.
After his sacking this week, Alli was quick to post a message of thanks to the Argentine on social media.
He wrote: “I can’t thank this man enough. He’s taught me so much and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me.
“Good luck and I hope to see you again my friend.”
