Gazzetta dello Sport via Football Italia claims the former Manchester City and Liverpool striker was told to leave the club’s training complex just an hour into Thursday’s session.

Bottom of Serie A, Brescia could be left no option but to offload the striker in the January transfer window with Galatasaray appearing favourites to sign him.

Balotelli has only scored twice in seven appearances for his hometown club and the cracks are starting to appear in the relationship between the club and the forward.

Brescia owner Massimo Cellino claims Balotelli is “no longer smiling” after he was racially abused by Verona fans at the start of the month.

The 29-year-old has had a tough time on the pitch this season and had to endure horrendous racial abuse in their 2-1 defeat to Hellas Verona.

It was down to his team-mates and opposition players to convince him to stay on the pitch after he launched a ball at the  fans abusing him.

Surprsingly, Balotelli’s own supporters defended the abuse from the Verona fans which has left his future at the club becoming uncertain.

It is becoming more apparent that the relationship is between the former Manchester City striker and the Italian club is close to irreparable and a fresh start could be on the agenda.
