RICHARLISON has signed a new five-year contract at Everton despite the club’s on-field woes.
The Brazilian forward, 22, put pen to paper on a new deal today to extend his stay at Goodison Park until 2024.

Richarlison joined the Toffees in 2018 in a £40million move just a year after he broke on to the Premier League scene with Watford.
And Marco Silva’s favourite – who was been linked with a move to Manchester United last month – has excelled on Merseyside as arguably Everton’s best player since his arrival.
He netted his 20th goal for the club in 50 starts in the defeat at Leicester on Sunday and has racked up 19 caps for the Brazilian senior side, all of which have come since moving to Goodison.
Speaking to evertontv, Richarlison said: “I intend to be here a long time.
I go out and put my life on the line for them. I try to sweat blood and tears for this club.

“This was the club which gave me the opportunity to show my football.
“It was here I managed to get a place in the Brazil national team and it was here I have scored lots of goals in the Premier League.
“The Club trusts me and I trust them. The supporters have a lot of affection for me and I try to give back all this affection as much as possible on the pitch.
“I go out and put my life on the line for them. I try to sweat blood and tears for this club.
“I intend to continue honouring the shirt and making the fans happy. And I hope they continue singing my name.”
The new contract for Richarlison will give Everton fans a welcome boost considering the dire atmosphere currently around the club.
Silva is clinging on to his job with just two Prem wins in the last ten, most recently losing to Norwich and in heartbreaking fashion to Leicester thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho’s injury-time winner.
And things do not get any easier with the next four league matches against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
