MANCHESTER UNITED fans could not contain their excitement as Erling Braut Haaland signed a Red Devils shirt – but then he inked a Leeds one too.
The image, shared by the teenager on his own Instagram story, showed the United transfer target putting pen to… polyester on the current home jersey.

It soon became clear that it was part of a mini signing session for the striker as he scribbled his signature on kits for rivals Leeds – who his dad Alf-Inge played for and the city of his birth – as well as Napoli, Red Bull Salzburg and Genk.
Nonetheless, plenty of United supporters shared their joy and the Red Devils Reddit page even crashed.
One said: “Good looking lad. The red will suit him.”
Another added: “It’s happening,” with a gif of Haaland celebrating for current side RB Salzburg.
And a third wrote: “Welcome to Old Trafford.”
Haaland uploaded to his Instagram earlier on Tuesday evening to offer his appreciation to his fans for their support throughout 2019 ahead of the winter break – Salzburg’s next game is not until February.
He then added a chick emoji next to 2019 and a lion one alongside 2020 as he looks to continue his sensational rise.
As revealed by SunSport earlier, Manchester United are confident of securing a £76million move for the teenager when the transfer window reopens in January.
If a deal is done in the New Year, it is understood Haaland would be loaned back to the Austrian side for the remainder of the season.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the 19-year-old prodigy his top target and is desperate to beat off competition from across Europe for the striker’s services.
Solskjaer had wanted to bring in the forward, who has scored 28 goals in 22 appearances this season, in January to boost the club’s battle for a top-four finish.
But Salzburg are insisting they will only do a deal if they are able to keep the brilliant teenager for the remainder of the campaign.

Haaland himself is keen on making the move to Old Trafford, but would be happy with the arrangement to be loaned back to his current club until May.
And while United would prefer to have him available straight away, such is their desire to snap up one of Europe’s best young players, they are thought to be coming round to the idea of accepting Salzburg’s terms.
German club RB Leipzig have an arrangement with sister club Salzburg where they can buy him for just £20m, and they have confirmed they have made their move to take up that option.
