MANCHESTER UNITED’S defensive troubles show no sign of letting up after they conceded for the 12th Premier League game in a row.
The unwanted record arrived after Victor Lindelof turned into his own net to give Everton the lead during their clash at Old Trafford.

The comical saw David De Gea fail to deal with a Leighton Baines cross into the box under pressure from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Such is the dismal state of United’s defence, this is their longest run in the top flight without a clean sheet since August 1971.
The helpless Lindelof then had no time to react as the loose ball struck him at the back post and bobbled over the line.
Not even VAR could come to United’s rescue as they saw protests of a foul against De Gea fall on deaf ears.
United have now failed to keep a clean sheet in the league since September 14 when they managed to claim a 1-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Their struggles at the back come in spite of a summer transfer window in which Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bisaka joined the club for a combined £130million.
They have conceded 16 goals in that time and have only picked up two clean sheets in the league this season.
Trailing 1-0 at the interval at Old Trafford, the 20 goals United have conceded remains lower than Spurs (23) and Chelsea (25) who sit above them in the table.
Regardless of their failure to keep sides out the Red Devils went into the game with Everton in the hunt for a Champions League place and sitting five points behind fourth place Chelsea.
