Man Utd confident of £100m Jadon Sancho transfer in January along with securing Christian Eriksen deal with Tottenham

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly confident of sealing both a £100million deal for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho AND signing Christian Eriksen from Spurs next month.

The Mirror claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is closing in on a move for England winger Sancho after turning his own fortunes around at Old Trafford.

Eriksen is also said to be high on the Norwegian’s agenda next month.

And United could soon be boosted by the two big-name arrivals after moving within five points of a Champions League spot.

Sancho has been tipped for a Premier League return after leaving Man City for Germany in 2017.

The winger has scored 22 goals and assisted 28 others since the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

That has put him firmly on the radar of England’s elite sides, and a recent fallout at Dortmund has only fuelled talk of him returning to the Premier League.

Liverpool are said to be in the hunt for Sancho despite already boasting the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah on their flanks.

There is also strong interest from Chelsea after they had their transfer ban lifted.

But it’s United who are apparently winning the race for Sancho’s coveted signature.

Solskjaer looks to be safe for the time being after successive victories against Spurs and Man City thrust his side back into the race for top four.

And Red Devils chiefs are now ready to back him in the transfer window by spending big on Sancho.

Ole would also like to move for Tottenham playmaker Eriksen, who is about to enter the final six months of his contract.

The Dane is holding out for a free transfer to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

But Spurs would prefer to cash in when the winter window opens.

And Eriksen could be tempted by the riches on offer at the Theatre of Dreams.
