GARETH BALE’S best option of ending his Real Madrid hell and getting back to the Premier League is a move to Manchester United in January.

The former Tottenham star has been at loggerheads with Real boss Zinedine Zidane over the Frenchman’s two spells at the Spanish giants.
Bale led Wales to Euro 2020 qualification last week, when fans held up a banner joking about their talisman’s miserable time in Madrid – and the fact that he prefers golf to playing for Los Blancos.
The Welsh wizard is known as “The Golfer” by the Spanish media.
He posed with the banner after the 2-0 win over Hungary, which read: “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order”
And that has gone down very badly in Spain with Zidane making him train alone.
But that Madrid reaction was condemned by Bale’s long-term agent Jonathan Barnett as “beyond ridiculous”.
And now United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be about to end his six-year spell in the Spanish capital, according to talkSPORT.
The main stumbling block would be 30-year-old Bale’s £600,000-a-week wages.
He could go in a player swap with Paul Pogba, as previously revealed by SunSport.
But having splashed out £505,000-a-week wages for flop Alexis Sanchez, the money could be found if they pay less on a transfer fee.
Zidane wants Bale’s wages off the bill so he can help pay for a £342m record bid for Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
Bale was set to leave in the summer on a crazy £1m-a-week three-year deal at China club Jiangsu Suning.
But Real president Florentino Perez pulled the plug on this at the very last minute.
New Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is also said to be a big fan of Bale.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would never fund his £600,000-a-week wages, which would shatter their pay ceiling.

Top earner Harry Kane is only said to be on £200,000-a-week.
Bale’s return to the Prem will surely happen sooner rather than later.
The Welshman has fallen out with Zidane on several occasions, claiming he was made a “scapegoat” by the French legend.
