Luka Jovic could be loaned out just six months after £62m Real transfer as Zidane admits he can’t find a place for him

REAL MADRID striker Luka Jovic could be loaned out in the January transfer window just six months after he arrived.

The Serbian has struggled since making his move to the Bernabeu from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The £62million pound striker has only scored once in a total of 12 appearances for the Spanish giants.

The 21-year-old has also made just four starts so far, since the summer.

Italian outlet Calciomercato claims Jovic could be loaned out in the upcoming January transfer window in search of more game time.

It also claims that the Serb international faces the prospect of being loaned out as he has struggled to force his way past Karim Benzema, Rodrygo Goes and Vincius Junior in Madrid’s attack.

He looks to find his goal-scoring touch once again.

Real boss Zidane told MARCA after the Champions League win at Club Bruges: ”He [Jovic] is not lost.

”He played well tonight, but it is true that he has not played a lot so far this season.

”He is a player that needs to play a lot to play well. There is no problem with him, and he must keep working hard.

”At the moment the difficulty lies with me as I cannot find a place for him, but he must be ready to play when he is needed.

”Hopefully he will get more game time in the comings weeks”.

Jovic scored his first goal for the club against Leganes but has since gone a month playing only a handful of minutes.

Jovic scored 17 goals in 32 appearances in the Budesliga for Frankfurt last season.

He also added 10 goals in 14 Europa League matches, including the semi-final against Chelsea.
