FREDDIE LJUNGBERG is still waiting to hear from Arsenal chiefs if he is in the running for the manager’s job.
The interim boss has not had any talks with owner Stan Kroenke since being asked to take over from Unai Emery.

And he is refusing to be distracted by Carlo Ancelotti joining an Emirates wishlist which also includes Mikel Arteta, Mauricio Pochettino and former Invincibles team-mate Patrick Vieira.
Ljungberg said: “Who they choose is up to them, but I am staying totally out of it.
“I have been asked this question a lot since I took over but it’s not a conversation I’ve had with the bosses. I just try to concentrate on my job of winning games and getting us to play better football.
“I am working game by game to help this fantastic club — but all the other decisions are up to the top dogs.”
Ljungberg — whose Gunners face Standard Liege in the Europa League tonight — enjoyed his first victory at West Ham on Monday night.
He revealed: “All the bosses were in the dressing room after the game except for the owner because he wasn’t in the country. They were all really happy and celebrated the victory with us.
“What pleased me the most was the way we won.”
Arsenal need a win tonight to be sure of topping their Europa League group — yet Ljungberg is still set to rest most of his senior stars.
Left-back Kieran Tierney could be out until March after dislocating his shoulder in a fall against West Ham.
Zech Medley, 19, is set to make his senior debut in the Gunners’ defence.
