Liverpool legend Daniel Agger rakes in record £1.77million profits from his sewer company

LIVERPOOL legend Daniel Agger has proved that where there’s muck there’s money … by raking in record profits from a SEWER COMPANY.

The Danish defender dragged the Reds out of the mire countless times before ending his eight-year Anfield stay back in 2014.

Agger, 34, set up a sewer and drains firm with his brother Marco and a pal seven years ago.

Named KloAgger, it translates as “Agger Loo” – and is based in his home town Hvidovre.

Agger is now flushed with success after the company posted record earnings for the 2018-19 financial year.

KloAgger made gross profits of £1.77 million – 20.4m Danish krone – and a net profit of £450,000.

A spokesman announced: “In the 2018-19 financial year there was a 10 per cent increase in turnover compared to the previous year.

“Management expects the company to grow by at least 10 per cent in the coming financial year.

“We see good opportunities to generate even better earnings than before.”

The company employs 19 staff. Malaga-based Agger is its chairman and majority shareholder.

The centre-back retired from playing in 2016 after a second spell with Brondby.

Capped 75 times by Denmark, he also owns a tattoo parlour, a bar and an investment company.
