Juventus join PSG and Bayern Munich in transfer race for Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen next summer

SERIE A giants Juventus are the latest European side to express an interest in Barcelona shot stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The Old Lady face stiff competition from a host of Europe’s top clubs in an effort to prise him away from Camp Nou.

Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to add a goalkeeper to his side to replace the remarkable Gianluigi Buffon, 41.

A move to Turin would also provide better competition for current first choice keeper, Wojciech Szczesny.

According to Mundo Deportivo, any move for Ter Stegen, 27, would cost a WHOPPING €100million.

This would make the German international the most expensive goalkeeper of all time, smashing the current record of £71million that Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018.

However, Juventus would need to sell current players for Financial Fair Play reasons to green light a move for Ter Stegen.

Starman Paulo Dybala has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Spurs reportedly interested in signing the Argentinian.

Bayern Munich are keen on bringing Ter Stegen back to Germany with a view to him replacing the ageing Manuel Neuer, 33.

PSG are another team who have expressed interest, with current shot stopper Keylor Navas also being 33.

Ter Stegen however is willing to see out his career in Barcelona, and is keen to sign a new long term deal at the Spanish giants.

He was signed in 2014 from Borussia Mönchengladbach for just £11million, and has since established himself as one of the world’s best keepers.
