How Tottenham could line up against Brighton with Christian Eriksen coming in for banned Son Heung-min

JOSE MOURINHO will be forced to start Christian Eriksen for the first time in a Premier League match against Brighton on Boxing Day.

Son Heung-min’s suspension — for his kick on Antonio Rudiger — means the Special One will be obliged to shuffle the pack.

And after Sunday’s uninspiring performance in the limp defeat to Chelsea, Mourinho could look to make his midfield more dynamic with the introduction of Harry Winks.

Spurs passed and moved the ball poorly against Frank Lampard’s side.

And Graham Potter has a habit of leaving his side quite open, even during away games, as the Seagulls were at Chelsea and Manchester United.

SunSport predicts Spurs will go with a 4-2-3-1 formation at the Tottenham Stadium.

Blundering Paulo Gazzaniga will continue between the sticks in Hugo Lloris’ absence.

There are other options, but we reckon Mourinho will continue with the back four who started against the Blues: Danny Rose, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier.

Then the two midfield pivots may well be shuffled, with Winks getting the nod ahead of Eric Dier, alongside Moussa Sissoko.

Then ahead of him, the three should be Dele Alli moving more to the left side, with Christian Eriksen in the middle and Lucas Moura on the right.

Any guesses who will start as No9? That’s right, the one-and-only Harry Kane.
