FREDDIE LJUNGBERG looks set to name an attacking team as Arsenal play Manchester City this weekend.
The Gunners boss is preparing to fight fire with fire and could start a fearsome attacking trio of Gabriel Martinelli, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
How Arsenal could line-up for their game with Man City this weekend
Reigning champions Man City haven’t kept a clean sheet since October 26 in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
And Ljungberg will hope to take advantage with a win at home by starting a pacey, attacking line-up.
Club captain Aubameyang is almost certain to lead the line, with Pepe on the right flank and Martinelli on the left.
Mesut Ozil could continue in the No10 role, roaming between attack and midfield.
Lucas Torreira may be given a chance alongside Matteo Guendouzi for the game, too.
Ljungberg may opt to tweak the team slightly, bringing in Willock, Luiz and Lacazette
In defence, though, Arsenal are burdened by a host of injury worries, including Kieran Tierney.
Bernd Leno will start in goal, with Hector Bellerin hoping to be fully fit to start at right-back.
The right-back missed Monday’s game with West Ham – despite being named in the starting XI – after picking up a late injury, replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Sead Kolasinac is set to start on the left in Tierney’s absence, with Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Calum Chambers in the heart of defence.
Should Ljungberg decide to go down a different route, Alexandre Lacazette could be in line to keep his goalscoring run alive by coming in for Aubameyang.
The French striker has scored four goals in his last four games.
Elsewhere, Joe Willock may be given the nod over Torreira and David Luiz could come back in for either Sokratis or Chambers.
