FURIOUS Everton striker Cenk Tosun stormed down the tunnel after Duncan Ferguson subbed a sub for the second game in a row against Arsenal.
The Turkish star came on in the 11th minute as a replacement for the injured Alex Iwobi – but was hauled off with ten minutes to play.
Duncan Ferguson subbed sub Tosun a week after doing the same to Kean
Tosun had replaced Moise Kean, himself a sub, in the game against Man Utd last week – with Kean this time the beneficiary.
Last weekend, Toffees interim boss Ferguson was slammed for “humiliating” youngster Kean.
The Italian forward, signing from Juventus this summer, last just 18 minutes before being hauled off in embarrassing manner.
That day he was replaced by Tosun for the dying moments of the 1-1 draw.
But this week – during the 0-0 draw at home to Arsenal – Tosun lasted a much more respectable 69 minutes, but still suffered the ignominy of being a sub later subbed himself.
The 40-cap Turkey striker was clearly fuming and immediately stormed down the tunnel rather than taking his place on the bench alongside his team-mates.
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti – who will replace Ferguson in charge at Goodison Park – was seen in the stands laughing.
And fans were quick to have their say on Ferguson’s latest stunt in what was his final match in charge.
One supporter tweeted: “Mental Duncan, just mental.”
Another wrote: “Ruthless from Big Dunc.”
A third added: “Tosun was double subbed? What the f*** is wrong with Duncan Ferguson man?”
One called it a stunt to cover up his treatment of Kean six days earlier, saying: “Duncan Ferguson has just completed the most elaborate cover up after subbing a sub (Kean at Man United) & now doing the same to Cenk Tosun against Arsenal.
“Groundbreaking management there from Drunken.”
