EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR has been thrown a career lifeline… by the French league’s bottom side.
The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham striker is a free agent after quitting Turkish club Kayserispor earlier this month.

Top-flight strugglers Nimes Olympique have now approached the 35-year-old to offer him a deal.
The southern-based club lies joint bottom of Ligue 1 alongside Toulouse, with both clubs collecting just 12 points and having a goal difference of minus 17.
Nimes coach Bernard Blaquart hopes Adebayor can inspire his team’s attack, which has managed just a dozen goals in 17 games.
French broadcaster RMC claims Nimes have put together a deal which allows them to end the striker’s contract in the event of relegation.
They are currently five points adrift of safety in their second season back in the top league.
Adebayor began his career in France with Metz and Monaco before joining Arsenal in 2006.
The Togo international has also played for Real Madrid, Crystal Palace and Istanbul Basaksehir.
Former Nimes players include Eric Cantona, Laurent Blanc and ex-West Ham striker Frederic Piquionne.
