CARLO ANCELOTTI began work at Everton with a warning to rivals Liverpool: I’ve got your number.
The Italian is the only boss to beat Jurgen Klopp’s first XI this season, when his Napoli side saw off the Reds 2-0 in the Champions League in September.

Ancelotti has won seven of his 12 games against Liverpool in his managerial career — and he takes Everton to Anfield in the FA Cup on January 5.
The new Toffees chief, 60, said: “The Evertonians know my score against Liverpool and they will be happy with this.
“It’s true we beat them this season — it felt good. They’re not used to losing so it was a good day for me. I know how much Everton fans want to beat Liverpool — and we don’t have to wait long because we play on January 5.
“They are a big rival here and this is a good motivation for us. I’m excited to play them again.
“It’s not mission impossible — everything is possible in football.”

Everton have not been victorious against Liverpool in any competition since 2010 and last won at Anfield in 1999.
But Ancelotti beat the Reds twice with Napoli, twice with Real Madrid, twice with Chelsea and once with AC Milan — the 2007 Champions League final.
He also believes he can eventually get Everton into the Champions League.
Ancelotti said: “This is the long-term goal and objective. The Premier League is a really competitive league but the goal of the club has to be this.
“We want to be ambitious and so this is the goal. To be competitive here and Europe also is good.”
His first game in charge of Everton is at home against Burnley on Boxing Day, having watched the goalless draw with Arsenal from the stands.
Ancelotti added: “I’ll do my best to help the team be competitive and make the supporters happy because for a long time this club didn’t win.
“It takes time to get organised but we have to have a clear focus and I’m sure we will improve quickly.”
