Both sides finished top of their group, along with Celtic – while Wolves and Rangers will be eager to find out their next opponents.
The Europa League draw follows on from the Champions League’s version, where Chelsea were drawn against Bayern Munich and Tottenham got RB Leipzig.
Manchester City were handed a tough Last 16 tie against 13-time winners Real Madrid while reigning champions Liverpool picked up Atletico Madrid.
