EINTRACHT FRANKFURT midfielder Mijat Gacinovic has shown off horrendous gashes on his torso following a karate kick from Schalke keeper Alexander Nubel.
Serbia midfielder Gacinovic looked more like he had been mauled by a huge animal as he posted a close-up of red-raw streaks after he was floored by Nubel’s studs-up, red-card challenge.

Gacinovic, 24, told his Instagram followers he was “fine” despite needing lengthy treatment in Schalke’s 1-0 home Bundesliga win on Sunday.
But social media reacted furiously to Nubel’s lunge.
One fan called it “absolutely terrible” and and another seethed: “The man forgot to play football, not kick-boxing”.
The way Nubel dashed out recklessly and raised his boot also revived memories of arguably the most infamous foul by a keeper in World Cup history.
INSTANT RED CARD
Fellow German Harald Schumacher somehow escaped conceding even a free-kick when he rushed from his box to knock out goal-bound France defender Patrick Battison in the 1982 semi-finals.
Battison had to be replaced just ten minutes after coming on as a substitute, before West Germany won on penalties following a 3-3 draw.
But, in contrast to Schumacher, at least Nubel seemed remorseful.
Referee Felix Zwayer instantly sent the 23-year-old off.
And Nubel made no protest, instead spending time to check on Gacinovic after the clash on 66 minutes.
Schalke’s ten men still managed to hold onto the opener Benito Raman had bagged 13 minutes earlier.
Victory left them fourth, a point above floundering champions Bayern Munich. while Eintracht remain 12th.
