Hart, third choice at Burnley, has had an unhappy time since Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola ditched him in 2015 saying he was not good enough with his feet.
He went on loan to Italian club Torino and then to West Ham.
The 6ft 5in stopper signed for Burnley in 2018 and played 19 times in the Prem last season.
But the 32-year-old, who has 75 England caps, has been an unused sub in each of Burnley’s games this season and is behind No 1 choice Nick Pope.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Joe has told some of his team-mates Becks has been in touch and he’s hopeful a deal can be done.
“He wants to be a No 1 again and he’s frustrated that things haven’t worked out in England for him over the past few years.
“Miami would be great for him and would also be a high-profile club.”
Becks is keen to bring in as many big names as he can and has also been linked with stars Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
