LIONEL MESSI may have pipped Cristiano Ronaldo to a sixth Ballon d’Or but it’s the Portuguese star’s fiancee that is winning the battle on social media.
The Barca and Juventus pair have enjoyed a fierce rivalry on the pitch and it has meant their other halves are never far from the limelight.

Messi has known wife Antonella Roccuzzo since they were children having grown up together in Argentina’s Rosario district.
Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have been loved-up ever since their meeting at an upmarket Madrid clothes store in 2016.
Between them they have a staggering 26.2million Instagram followers with Georgina boasting 14m of those.
And it has been revealed that those social media accounts help them rake in a fortune.
According to Golf Support and the Influencer Marketing Hub, Georgina makes a whopping £29,587 every post.
That’s almost £6,000 more than Antonella, who takes home £23,915.
It’s still a far cry from Gerard Pique’s missus Shakira, who has beaten off competition from Victoria Beckham and Gisele to become the top-earning Wag on social media.

A distant second is former Spice Girl-turned businesswoman and fashion designer Victoria Beckham.
The 45-year-old makes up half of one of Britain’s most influential power-couples.
And posts to her 27.3 million Instagram followers are believed to be worth a cool £55,991.
