CRISTIANO RONALDO has been crowned the biggest earner on Instagram – smashing his celebrity rivals across the world.
Ronaldo is such a huge global superstar he scooped a huge £38million just on the social media platform last year, double that of his ole foe Lionel Messi.

A study on the figures major icons have been paid to promote products on Instagram shows sports stars have by far the biggest pay deals.
And the figures coined in by Juventus ace Ronaldo dwarf those of major influencers such as Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez.
The authors of the study, Buzz Bingo, looked at the total number of promoted posts by each star over the last 12 months and divided that amount by the declared earnings for that period.
It found that Ronaldo, 34, made 34 sponsored posts on Instagram over the year, raking in £38.2m for his efforts.
That boils down to £780,000-per-post for the winger, who scored the 700th goal of his career last night.

In contrast, Barcelona star Messi’s 36 sponsored posts collected a total of £18.7m, £518,000 every time he made one.
Reality TV star Kendall Jenner is the third highest earner over the same period, making £12.7m at £489,000 per post.
And though he has been retired from playing for over six years, David Beckham’s global status sees him still sit in fourth on the list.
Beckham’s £8.6m for Insta promotions beats actress Selena Gomez into fifth place, and is more than Kylie Jenner earned in the same period.
However, American Kylie is by far the biggest earner when it comes to how much she charges – for her three posts over the 12 months came at the cost of £1m each.
With six sports stars in the top ten earners, it is clear which industry advertising chiefs believe will see them reach the biggest audiences.
