CHELSEA outcast Pedro says he will “leave everything” to return to Barcelona after his switch was blocked in the summer.
The Spanish winger, 32, is one of a number of stars set to leave Stamford Bridge in January.
Pedro says he will ‘leave everything’ if Barcelona want him to return from Chelsea
Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso look on their way out too – but it is Pedro being lined up for a move back to the Nou Camp.
Pedro has played in the Premier League just five times under Frank Lampard this season.
And while being linked with a move to Aston Villa, he has gone on record saying a switch to Spain is a real “possibility”.
The five-time La Liga and three-time Champions League winner doubled down on those comments in an interview with L’Esportiu.
Pedro, who was with Barca for 11 years from 2004, said: “If Barcelona call me, I leave everything.
“This pre-season there was a possibility of returning that occurred when Chelsea faced Barcelona.
“I was talking to the coach, but the door closed quickly.
“Now I don’t know what will happen [in the future].”
Neymar’s arrival at the Nou Camp – which could happen for a second time after he posted this photo of MSN reunited – forced Pedro out the door.
He has hardly been a flop in West London, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League.
But it is clear from his words that he has dear memories of Barca and longs to return after almost five years in England.
Pedro added: “I left Barcelona because I was brave. Neymar arrived and I played less. These things happen in football.
“Luis Enrique was always honest with me.
“I was there to help. Not everyone was the same. How am I going to be better than Xavi? Or Messi?
“But they made you feel that way. They were very generous.
“When I assisted Leo, he came and said, ‘thank you’ and I thought, ‘thank you for being so good’.”
