And Pep Guardiola’s No2 is expected to be confirmed in the job within 48 hours.
Now Estadio Deportivo claim he will battle it out with Liverpool and Bayern Munich to bring the 17-year-old Zarzana to North London.
And they report Arsenal have already opened discussions with the La Liga outfit over a deal.
The midfielder has caught the eye of a number of Europe’s big guns – and he even turned down a bumper move to Real Madrid a year ago.
The teen told Marca recently: “I heard that Real Madrid had put an offer in for me last year.
“I have always wanted to make my debut with the first team here.”
The versatile Zarzana is currently playing for Sevilla’s B team, but he demonstrated his ability against Madrid in the Champions Cup in the summer with a cheeky panenka penalty.
He said: “I had been telling my team-mates that I was going to score a penalty like that all week and they just laughed at me.
“When I stepped up to take it, I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to try it.”
