ARSENAL will offer Granit Xhaka back to Borussia Monchengladbach… but want their star man Denis Zakaria in return.
Gunners outcast Xhaka is heading for the exit door in January after his stunning fallout with supporters before being stripped of the captaincy.

The Swiss star has not featured since the incident in which he mouthed at fans to “f*** off.”
He did little to appease the Arsenal faithful over the international break by uploading an Instagram post with the comments: “Happiness is when you are satisfied with yourself and don’t need the confirmation of others.”
Xhaka remains a fan favourite at Monchengladbach having spent four years there before making the move to the Emirates in 2016.
Now he’s been offered an emotional return to the club with his availability set to spark a transfer scramble.
Newcastle have already declared their interest in a potential loan move.
But Arsenal will hope to encourage him to join the Bundesliga high-flyers because they will include an option to have first refusal on Zakaria should he decide to move on.
Zakaria, 22, is hot property across Europe having starred this season with Monchengladbach top of the table.
Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are all thought to be monitoring his situation.
The attention has not gone unnoticed but it appears clubs will have to wait until the summer before making their move after his agent ruled out any January transfer.
Speaking to BILD, Mathieu Beda said: “Denis will not leave Borussia in the winter, a change is 100 per cent excluded.
“Denis is in very good shape in Gladbach and has been playing really well for weeks, but he still has more potential and he wants to show that in Gladbach now instead of dealing with a change.”
