ARSENAL extended their winless run to nine games with a 2-1 home defeat against Brighton.
The Gunners were nervous from the off and the Seagulls took advantage, with Adam Webster lashing in from a corner after 37 minutes.
Things improved for a time after the break for the hosts as Alexandre Lacazette netted an equaliser, but Neal Maupay’s late header ensured it was a miserable homecoming for Freddie Ljungberg.
