ARSENAL’S most furious fans are demanding instant action – and Mauricio Pochettino – after the club’s depressing defeat to Brighton.
A late Neal Maupay goal condemned interim boss Freddie Ljungberg to a second winless game in charge, extending the Gunners’ overall run to nine matches.

And many supporters on social media spent Friday calling for the Swede to get the boot having changed very little about the side that got Unai Emery sacked.
Their first-choice replacement appears to be ex-Spurs manager Pochettino in what would be one of the most sensational appointments in English football’s recent history.
One Twitter user wrote: “No win in 2 months. Relegation form. Owners that don’t give a s*** about anything but money. Unless we score 2 or 3 goals a game can’t see us winning with this shambolic defence. ANNOUNCE POCH NOW. Enough is Enough.”
Gunners fan Tee added: “Arsenal just announce Poch, Allegri or Ancelotti.”
And Roy posted: “Announce Poch please. Splash money. Get him to do the job. He’s the man for the defence.”
Both #WengerIn and #LjungbergOut were trending on Twitter after the defeat.
Some 18 months after the Frenchman was moved on having failed to win the Premier League trophy for over a decade, there is a tinge of regret for some.
One supporter, posting under the name Velan, tweeted: “I always wanted Wenger to stay. He left because of plastic fans. We miss you Wenger #WengerIn.”
Another commented: “Arsenal were a wonderful club under #WengerIn be careful what you wish for.”
In replacing Emery, former assistant Ljungberg has largely stuck to the 4-2-3-1 formation that the Spaniard deployed on his fateful final outing.

And Thursday’s loss at home to Brighton encapsulated why many Gooners want the inexperienced coach out of the hotseat as soon as possible.
A tweet summing up the discontent came from Ayo, who wrote: “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won 13 straight games before we discovered he’s a fraud. Ljungberg got caught after 13mins #LjungbergOut.”
While Gerald asked: “Guys, is it #FreddieOut or is it #LjungbergOut? I need us to be clear on it.”
